This plan is for companies that utilize network services and
specialized applications. Businesses such as these need more than the
basic network maintenance offered in the Silver Service Plan. This plan
includes remote monitoring and administration, unlimited scheduled
maintenance and a 40% discount on the same-day emergency service base
rate.
Management and maintenance provided by the Gold Service Plan include:
- Monitor and maintain your network,
servers and workstations from our remote monitoring facility and
perform onsite maintenance as needed.
- Work with management on defining what new
systems are needed, research currently available solutions, acquire
equipment and software for chosen solution and integrate into
production.
- Upgrade hardware as necessary and schedule so that workflow is affected as little as possible.
- Perform preventive maintenance on hardware and check for signs of potential failures.
- Perform repairs and replacements on all systems as needed.
- Regularly verify all systems have security hot-fixes installed.
- Apply system service packs when released and test.
- Research current network design and contrast with network system requirements to develop network improvement strategies.
- Research currently implemented antiviral
applications, determine effectiveness and develop strategy for total
network-wide virus defense.
- Implement and maintain antivirus strategy to
include verifying antivirus dat files up to date on both servers and
workstations.
- Develop disaster recovery plan to include
installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring and a tested
recovery procedure.
- Verify that data backups are scheduled correctly and being performed as planned.
- Continually verify current backup procedures are sufficient to safeguard your company against loss of important data.
